This place is so incredibly good! I've tried a lot of things here, and honestly, I've never walked away unsatisfied. I don't think I've tried a single dish that I disliked, and I've found a lot that I really liked. The general tsos, the orange chicken, the fried rice, the lo mein. Empress chicken, Mongolian beef. All the different kinds of dumplings - steamed wontons, gyoza, Korean vegetable dumplings. Their white rice is always perfect. The mapo tofu is insanely good! That was a super welcome surprise. Not spicy, which is a shame, but so flavorful! As long as I live by here this place is gonna be a routine stop.
Excellent Pan-Asian food, with great quality dishes and a wide, diverse menu. Service was friendly, quick, and attentive. While waiting for our order, we watched several dishes coming out of the kitchen — everything looked delicious and smelled amazing. I really loved the experience. The place is simple but cozy, perfect for enjoying good food in a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!
The food here is OUT of this WORLD! My sister bought me here before my flight back to Melbourne and Oh boy was the best Pan Asian restaurant everrr. Why did she only take me here on the day I leave. Just excellent nothing to fault. They make everything fresh, so be prepared for a little wait, but I swear it’s worth it! Happy tummy happy customers!
Great food and good service. Food was fresh.Prices was affordable compared to others. Large portions. Smoothies were delicious. They use real fruits. Recommended. Parking is on the street and somewhat difficult to find one.
I visited Jess Cafe in Chicago and was pleasantly surprised by its generous pan-Asian menu offerings; the Korean beef and baked rice bowls stood out as flavorful and filling. The crab rangoon and egg rolls were well-presented and tasty, though I found the spice level inconsistent across different dishes. The atmosphere was casual and friendly, giving the impression of a neighborhood spot where people feel comfortable coming often. Overall, the experience was satisfying and I’d return to try more items.
I have been coming to Jess Cafe for years and I’m never disappointed. They have large portions at reasonable prices. The food is delicious and the service is even better. The waiter kept coming by and checking to make sure my cup was full. You will definitely have leftovers after your meal!! I really liked dining in at Jess Cafe!!
Delivery was super fast. Portions were HUGE. And entree w rice would be more than enough for 2 people. Wish the teriyaki beef had marinated longer...will be great for lunch tomorrow. Sad that appetizers were expensive and large....would have liked a value dinner, a couple crab rangoon & 1/2 the amount of beef & mushrooms. Didn't realize they were so close. If neighbors wanna split dinner would love to try several unique items on the menu. The online service to order was too confusing. Dinner split would have come to less than $10 per person. Deal for working busy couples.
